10 Rarest Skins in Call of Duty: Warzone

| |

Call of Duty: Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale video game published in 2020. It is available for Xbox one, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows.

Even though it’s unnecessary to purchase the following titles, this game is connected to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), Call of Duty: Black Ops: Cold War (2020), and Call of Duty: Vanguard (2021). Activision published the Warzone, but Infinity Ward and Raven Software developed it.

Players can choose between two modes when launching the game – Plunder and Battle royale, and they can fight online against 150 other players. Various things make Warzone unique, but its in-game currency is close to the top.

Thanks to this system, players can use Buy Stations to buy gas masks, game-transforming killstreaks, and the beloved Loadout Drop. Before the devs introduced additional updates and enables solos, duos, and quads, the only option was a three-player squad.

This edition received overall positive critics, but the maps received the most praise. However, Warzone is also known for its variety of Operator skins that can often give a stellar advantage to the player.

Because of that, we’re exploring the rarest skins in Call of Duty: Warzone.

The Near Dark Roze skin is undoubtedly the rarest skin in Call of Duty: Warzone and has an impressive and frightening aesthetic. Roze is a playable character in Modern Warfare and Warzone multiplayer modes, and she is the Shadow Company unit’s member.

This fascinating costume is also the most sought-after in this game’s edition due to its colors allowing the player to blend with the environment. However, that also created controversies and anger, as many complained it’s impossible to win if the opponent uses the Near Dark skin to hide.

Did you know?

The Near Dark Rose was published during the Modern Warfare Season 5 Battle Pass, and that was also the only time players could unlock it. However, players can still pass the season’s four-tier 100 or use in-store microtransactions to buy it in Warzone.

The Takeaway

Even though the game struggled with various leaks, glitches, and bugs upon launching, over six million people downloaded the Warzone in only one day. Two days after, the number of players passed 15 million.

Hence, Warzone captured the hearts of its target audience fast, and the publishers will release the second part by the end of the year. Various reasons exist for loving this game, but customization and unique items, including skins, are undoubtedly among them.
