The Maybach Exelero is the most expensive Maybach car ever made. Maybach teamed up with Stola to build this one-of-a-kind luxury sports car. German tire company Fulda commissioned this car to test its high-performance tire range. Fulda wanted Maybach to make a car that could reach speeds over 217 mph so they could test the physical limits of the tire. Only one unit of this car was ever made.

Exelero was made on the platform of the Maybach 57, and Maybach SW38 inspired its design. The car’s final design was created by four students from the Transportation Design School at Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences.

The car is nearly 19 feet long and has a low-slung, aerodynamic body designed to cut through the air with minimal resistance. Its bold, angular lines and sleek, black paint job highlight the car’s aggressive styling. The car also features large, 23-inch wheels and a distinctive split rear spoiler that helps to improve its downforce and handling.
